ForeverSibs strives to honor and recognize the unique role of brothers and sisters of children with rare diseases/disorders and autism through social support and education, thereby decreasing their anxiety and isolation.
Serious illnesses and disabilities can result in upheaval for families. Brothers and sisters of affected children are called upon to be responsible, courageous, and mature beyond their years. Often times, they are experiencing intense feelings of fear, anxiety and sadness themselves, but feel like they must stay strong and not express their emotions. ForeverSibs wants to help families show these special kids that their efforts are recognized and appreciated. |
